I have 3 CSM SL720 gyros and the USB interface and software. These units were conceived back during WINDOWS XP hayday. Just got rid of my old XP desktop a few weeks ago. Using my laptop now with Windows 8. Here's my problem, I cant find a driver to work with the CSM USB interface. I've used DRIVER UPDATE and can't find a driver. The manuals and software are still downloadable out of some sites in the UK. Does anyone know where I can locate and download a driver for CSM'S USB interface to work with Windows 8.
There is a driver folder in the software but nothing that is up to date for Windows 7&8. go down the page and under SPARES there are folders with USB INTERFACE drivers all the way to Windows 7 and they say should work under Windows 8. Also there is a note that newer computers are not recognizing the usb interface, actually there are 2 devices when you load the software csm2usb B and csm2usb A. Anyway the drivers wouldn't load when tried. something about missing a hash B and hash A or the file when unzipped is corrupt.
